The right shoe for every occasion

The most important job of work shoes is to protect our feet.  Decorations and extravagant features tend to get in the way. Solid and sturdy materials as well as good workmanship are crucial.

Faster, higher, further!

The first sports shoes were developed in the USA and England. They consisted of a rubber sole and a shaft made of sailcloth.

Today's sports shoes are especially suited to the movements needed for a particular sport and the kind of surface it is practiced on. Sport shoes must be sturdy and in most cases also very light. Technical innovations, especially in the area of new synthetic materials, help in the pursuit of new world records.
